Meet Christyn Walker, a trauma, relationship, and Christian therapist in Conyers, GA
It’s time to get to the heart of the matter.
You feel emotionally exhausted from carrying the same pain, anxiety, relationship struggles, or trauma patterns over and over again. Maybe you’ve tried to push through on your own. Perhaps you’ve even been to counseling before but still feel stuck in the same cycles.
I’m Christyn Walker, a therapist in Conyers serving adults throughout Georgia through in-person and online therapy. I specialize in trauma therapy, Christian counseling, relationship issues, anxiety, substance abuse counseling, and helping women navigate difficult relationships and boundary struggles.
I work best with clients who are looking for a deeper therapy process.
I work with clients who want more than surface-level coping skills. My therapy approach is focused on helping you understand the deeper roots behind ongoing emotional pain, unhealthy relationship patterns, anxiety, low self-esteem, trauma responses, or self-destructive behaviors. Together, we work toward lasting healing — not just temporary relief.
Who I Help…
I provide counseling for adults in Conyers and throughout Georgia who are struggling with:
Trauma and unresolved childhood wounds
Anxiety, emotional overwhelm, and chronic stress
Difficult or unhealthy relationships
Boundary issues and people-pleasing
Low self-esteem and identity struggles
Christian faith and emotional healing
Alcohol abuse and substance-related concerns
Relationship confusion, attachment wounds, and repeated patterns
Feeling emotionally “stuck” despite previous therapy
Many of my clients are Christian women trying to love others well without losing themselves in the process. Others are adults who feel trapped in cycles they can’t fully explain and are ready for a deeper therapy process that addresses the source — not just the symptoms.
Whether you’re looking for trauma therapy in Conyers, Christian counseling in Georgia, or support navigating difficult relationships, therapy can help you gain clarity, healing, and practical next steps.
My Approach to Therapy
My counseling approach is source-focused and insight-oriented. While we’ll work on stabilizing the issues bringing you into therapy, we’ll also explore the deeper experiences, beliefs, and emotional wounds that may be fueling those struggles underneath the surface.
Our brains constantly learn from our experiences. Painful relationships, trauma, rejection, neglect, shame, or difficult life experiences can quietly shape the way we think about ourselves, others, relationships, trust, safety, and even God.
Sometimes the source of emotional pain is obvious. Other times, it remains hidden until certain situations trigger intense emotional reactions, anxiety, conflict, fear, or unhealthy coping patterns.
In therapy, we’ll work to…
Identify the deeper roots of ongoing struggles
Understand negative core beliefs and emotional triggers
Process unresolved trauma and painful experiences
Develop healthier boundaries and relationship patterns
Create long-term change instead of temporary symptom relief
Build emotional stability and self-awareness
