Helping you get to the heart of the problem and heal from the inside out.

Providing therapy near Atlanta and across Georgia for Trauma, Alcohol Abuse, and Christian Women

You never thought it would be this way.

Maybe you’re …

… exhausted from the effects of childhood or adult trauma

Logically, you know it’s not happening now, but it’s like your brain and body won’t let you move on. You feel like you’re reliving the effects over and over. You don’t know why you can’t just get past it. It’s affecting you, your relationships, your work. You’re ready to stop the pain, to feel like yourself again, or maybe find out what the new self looks like. You want to experience relief.

… or struggling with alcohol abuse

You didn’t mean for it to end up like this. You thought you had a handle on it. After all, other people drink and are fine. And you were too… for a while. But now you’ve realized you can’t work through it on your own. You’ve tried. You’ve told yourself that the last time was the last time, and promised yourself that you’d start over. But you keep ending up back in the same place time and time again - with more and more shame. You’re ready to feel in control again.

… or perhaps a Christian woman stuck in a difficult relationship

You’re tired of the disconnection and conflict with your significant other, family member or friend. You’ve tried to stand up for yourself or set boundaries, but you feel guilty and unsure when they aren’t respected. You feel like you give and give and don’t get anything you really need in return. You wonder if you’re going crazy. You just want to do the right thing. You want to feel confident in yourself, your decisions, and your relationships.

Hi! I’m Christyn.

I believe true healing flows from the inside out.

We’ll start at the heart of the problem and create a plan for healing. I provide a supportive and collaborative environment to explore deeper issues, while also learning tools to manage day-to-day. Over time in therapy, we’ll work towards increased self-awareness and confidence, creating lasting change, and experiencing better relationships with others.

1 Reach Out

I know it can feel like a big step to call a counselor, but I’ll make it easy. We’ll spend 15-minutes on the phone and I’ll let you know how I can help. Click here or the button below to schedule a free consultation.

2 Dig Deep

From there, we’ll set up an initial appointment and dive in. We’ll work together to explore what brings you to therapy and create a plan for stability, healing and change. Then, we’ll start “digging!”

3 Fire Me

Okay, maybe “fire” is a strong word, but my goal is for us to eventually work me out of the job as your counselor. Digging deep takes time. But once you’ve accomplished your goals, we’ll phase out therapy at your comfort level and you can focus even more on enjoying the benefits of your hard work!

You don’t have to stay stuck in the struggle, and you definitely don’t have to do it alone. Reach out today to discover how therapy with a plan and a therapist who understands can make a difference for today and the future.
